Bluejay Consulting – Terms & Conditions of Sale

1. About Us

Bluejay Consulting specialises in the sale of professionally refurbished networking equipment. Every item we sell is tested and guaranteed to be in full working order unless stated otherwise.

2. Product Condition

All products are:

  • Professionally refurbished and tested prior to dispatch
  • Supplied with relevant accessories (where applicable)
  • Clearly described with condition and specifications

Please read each product listing carefully before purchasing.

3. Warranty

We offer a 365-day Return to Base (RTB) warranty on all hardware unless otherwise stated.

What’s covered:

  •  Hardware faults not caused by accidental damage or misuse
  • Replacement or repair of faulty items (at our discretion)

What’s not covered:

  • Physical damage, misuse, or unauthorised repairs
  • Software issues or compatibility problems
  • Consumables (e.g. SFPs, cables) unless specified

Warranty upgrades may be available at checkout or by request.

4. Returns & Refunds

If you’re not satisfied with your purchase or it develops a fault:

  • Unwanted items: Return within 14 days of receipt for a refund (buyer pays return shipping unless item is faulty)
  • Faulty items under warranty: Contact us for a return authorisation. We’ll repair or replace the item, or offer a refund if a replacement isn’t available.

Returned items must be securely packaged and include all original accessories.

5. Shipping

We aim to dispatch all orders within 1–2 working days. Delivery times vary based on location and courier services.

Any damage during shipping must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

6. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Loss of business or profits caused by equipment failure
  • Incompatibility with your existing systems or network
  • Delays caused by third-party couriers

Our maximum liability is limited to the value of the goods supplied.

7. Data Responsibility

Please ensure any equipment purchased is installed and configured by qualified personnel. Bluejay Consulting accepts no responsibility for data loss, security breaches, or configuration errors resulting from misuse.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. By placing an order, you agree to these terms and our warranty conditions.
